Bangkok, Thailand - 11.30

We made it out of Istanbul, Turkey. We were there for one night and didnt have time to see much. We have landed in the last country of this leg of the trip. We were in Bangkok for 2 nights and now we are in North Central Thailand in Kanchanaburi. We've done the rounds...

Barebacking it

We have about 5 days left of shooting and then I am taking 7 days off in Koh Chong. Our fixer for this country owns a hotel down there and is hooking us up. A few of us are heading down there to go diving and decompress. Can't wait.  Back in LA on the 15th or so. Will be home for 12 days then off to Antarctica

Ayia Napa, Cyprus 11.22-11.25

We have been working our butts off here in Cyprus but we have managed to have a lot of fun while doing it. I am off to bed but wanted to get some stuff up before we leave tomorrow morning!

Yes mom it was totally safe... ish.

40 foot drop

Thanksgiving day off!

My new Cyprian bud Phileos

We went back for more cliff jumping today

Lesson learned. Don't throw the snorkeling gear off the 40 foot drop.

Thanksgiving in Cyprus! We had a delicioius dinner tonight prepared by a Cyprian who had never made a Thanksgiving meal in his life. He did an awesome job, and we had such a great feast.

Off to bed, we are on to Istanbul tomorrow early morning and then on to Thailand the next day.Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Miss you!

Limassol, Cyprus 11.21

We arrived in Cyprus yesterday to find that 14 of our 28 bags didn't make it with us (yes the 8 of us travel with 28 bags). Guess who's personal bag was one of those 14 that didn't make it. We had the evening off and went out for Greek food (wearing the same clothes that I had been wearing for 2 days). We had some of the best red snapper I have ever tasted. In true fashion of this trip we have seen so much in a very short amount of time. We are here for another 4 days so I am looking forward to really getting a taste for this place and maybe getting a little shut eye. It is tough to juggle free time because when we are not working (which isn't often) all I want to do is sleep, but I can't let myself because there is so much to see. I guess I will sleep when we get back from Antarctica in January.

A few so far...

Gabe and I in the "Tomb of the Kings"

More tombs

Waiting for the show to being in the amphitheater.

I touched the Mediterranean for the first time yesterday. The color is stunning, and the water temp is perfect at around 75 degrees. We get 2 days off for thanksgiving and our local guide is going to take us snorkeling and surfing. Who knew there is surf in the med??

Little hillside village in the mountains about a 2 hour drive from Limassol.

We are off to Ayia Napa which is supposed to be a super fun vacation town with a ton of great restaurants and bars... don't see any sleep in my future.

Bushmills and Rathlin Island, Ireland 10.16-10.18

Northern Ireland is stunning. We had been blessed with sunny weather making all these outdoor shoots much more enjoyable.  We are staying in Bushmills, which is home to the famous whiskey, so obviously I was hung over this morning. We spent some time checking out old castles and hiking around the cliffs.

Dunluce Castle

Rathlin Island

My room in Rathlin

Seals!

I was lucky enough to get up in a helicopter and shoot some aerials for the show. Seeing the coastline from 200 feet was amazing. Never seen anything like it.

Already time to say goodbye to Ireland. 6 days was way too short! Off to Cyprus tomorrow earlier morning.
